Licensing & Multiple Utility Users
The software license is per computer, so you only need to purchase the software once for each computer that you will be using it on. You can then work with any number of QB company files.
Simultaneous Use
For some utilities and activities it's best if only one user is using them at a time. For example, it would not make sense to have two different users editing the same chart of accounts at the same time, as the would overwrite each others changes.
For other activities multiple users are okay, but care should be taken to avoid conflicts. For example, if you would like to have two users batch invoicing sales orders, one user could work on the A-M customers and another could work on the N-Z to avoid each trying to create the same invoices. It is not recommended in QuickBooks in general for multiple users to be doing some of the same tasks simultaneously and those rules apply to our utilities as well.
